What's Different About a Newer Suburb
The upside of a newer build is a modern switchboard from the start. The catch is that modern homes tend to have more already drawing on it — ducted air conditioning, solar, sometimes a heat pump hot water system. A board that looked like it had plenty of headroom on paper can be closer to capacity than expected once everything's accounted for. We check the actual board, not just the build year.
